#34187, "Devil's shield vs AP."
|
I suggest to remove the ability of devil's shield (or whatever it is, from the Hell) to destroy AP's blessed weapons.
I mean exploring and rewards for this are very important of course, but why should 1 item totally destroy the whole class?

Are you genuinely concerned that the stars will align themselves such that while you've built up a monster AP someone will manage to get that item and use it against you?
That item isn't exactly in circulation very often, and if you had an AP strong enough to really be afraid of it, you'd probably be part of the Hell group going and getting it (especially given who you are).
That, the Talisman, and a few other insanely OP trinkets just don't seem like big worries to me when the odds I'll actually have to face them are so incredibly low.

Yes, the odds of this situation are very very very low.
I only offer a little change to the Hell's 2 items while the area author is playing the CF right now, because changes in the Hell are impossible without Scarabaeus.
10 years ago when there were druids with 90% damage reduction, many unstopable liches and so on the CF was a bit different from now. Now many things are balances and i don't think insta-killing items fit in the CF nowdays.

I suggest to remove the ability of the Talisman of utter Evilness (or whatever it is, from the Hell) to insta-kill people.
Of course there are almost no people who wear devil's shield or the Talisman of utter Evilness, but still.
These super EQ could give some nasty affects for the wearer - for example perma aura or shield or even barrier. But insta-killing people or destroying the weapon someone was bulding for monthes?
