Does it really give resist_blunt?

Ice is slash and waves is pierce by popular belief. But a generalized "blunt" for earth seems out of the question to me. Is it possibly resist crush, beating, or just one type of blunt verb, nothing, or all blunt attack?

It does reduce blunt damage a bit (and yes, that's every blunt/bash damage attack) but it's not resist_blunt. That is to say, gnomes/svirf still take extra damage from bludgeoning attacks.

Each of those three shields also increases the damage someone who has them takes from something else a bit.

Granted, invokers tend to have a good amount of DR going and it's possible in a lot of cases you almost can't tell what they're taking more/less damage from.

That is interesting. I never noticed this on my characters, but I tended to have a pretty high amount of damage reduction from ABS, stoneform and such. Thus it would be hard to notice a slight difference.

I've never seen any type of greater shield grant damage reduction, and ive played many invokers. But I may be mistaken, who knows.. Guess an imm got to step in.
