I'd say if you really don't like sleeping, you shouldn't pick a character that's dumb but wants to use a lot of mana.
Just like if you don't want to interact with immortals you shouldn't pick an empowerment class, if you want to do a lot of solo PK you shouldn't pick a healer, etc.

I played a warrior recently who did a lot of PKing sub 30, and I probably went through 10 gold per session on refreshes. You're not supposed to be able to search every plausible ranking area for a target, for example, as quickly as you can type the directions. If you're constantly looking for enemies, chasing targets, running patrols, etc., it's entirely fair for you to need to either sleep a lot or burn tons of coin/barters.
Exploration for movement points and a tiny bit of +mv from equipment wouldn't hurt either.

Failure should be just as interesting as success.
I suggest changing the state of sleep to either 1) a state of lethargy that allows enough risk-taking actions for the game to still be fun or 2) an independent mode of gameplay in which the rewards for success are applied to your character's ghost when you die and the costs of failure are applied to your character upon waking. Furthermore, I think Seantryn Modan must be destroyed.

There are lots of low level things you can wear which give sizable boosts to fatigue recovery as well, and they can be be gotten by 15 if not earlier. You wear two or three such items (all of which have other perks) to boost fatigure recovery 30% and move should never be a problem for you, and they have other perks as well in terms of their stats.
