#31008, "Question about lastname mechanics for imms"
|
There's one question about how lastnames appear I just recently remembered: how does punctuation behave?
If I recall right, on ordinary titles, a starting punctuation mark means the leading space is cut out so you could have a title like "Sauron, Pretty Badass Dude" or "Xylor.".
What about lastnames, if I wanted a name/lastname combo such as "Worf, son of Mogh"? I recall wanting to use something of that style once, but decided against it in case I would've ended up with "Worf , son of Mogh".
Disclaimer: no, my character wasn't really named Worf.

Lastnames are pretty straightforward. WYSIWYG in fact.
If you wanted : son of Mogh as your last name, then type:
lastname son of Mogh
Then you would be, Worf son of Mogh
Without actually titling someone, I don't think there's a way to have the Comma show up after Worf. Even then, I don't think it will let us have a comma right after someone's first name.

Worf son of Mogh just isn't as aesthetically pleasing, which is why I was wondering. Thanks.
