How bad of staff/spear specs do giants make?

Axes to be easy parried by Spears than anything other weapon.

But I found spear good against axe as Sossaphrin. Considerably better than I'd expected.

Overall though, I've always thought staff seemed a bit better.

1) It depends on what you're trying to parry, but they're both pretty similar.

2) You're not going to spin very well, and thus you're not going to be an especially awesome tank considering the dual wield you're forgoing. (Although you'd still probably outtank any other giant warrior excepting sword, polearm, and probably exotics w/ HPM). I want to say the rest of the skills will work passably.

He took Trapping with that 50+ pound stump as a staff spec. Which I had never seen done before. He had some pretty beastly pugils. If only there wasn't a DB cap on skills like that, it probably would be one of the biggest one hit moves on the entire game.

He always seemed to do really decently though, he was just kind of RAHHH I DONT CARE IF I DIE!

I'm 90% sure there isn't.

I just assumed it was like that for other non combat hits. For as hard pugil hits without deathblow, and the hardest pugil deathblows I saw out of him.

I was nearly positive a 3x DB was the cap, maybe even just 2x. I think an IMM even commented on it after he deleted.

Either way, it was a really cool idea. That character always stuck out to me for originality.
