Is it absolutely verboten to recycle a role from pre-purge?

I had one that got "above average" role xp. The character was only about 30 hours old, ranked in the 20s somewhere, uncaballed, and had a grand total of maybe 2 PKs.

That a role I could re-use?

I think we'd generally prefer if you didn't, but no one has said it's against the rules so far. I don't have a big problem with it, as long as the charater wasn't above their 20's or caballed/religioned. My only advice is that if you're going to do it, at least be classy enough to change the old character's name out and put the new one's in.

Yeah. No religion, no cabal (though I'd been trying), few meaningful IC relationships. I rerolled another version of that same combo, but haven't played him yet. Or entered a role. If I actually get around to playing the character, I'll update the names before entering it.
