1. Outlanders dont use coins? They barter for everything they have?

2. Has an outlander (savage) been able to be able to use coins, ever? Can it be added to a role, or is that kind of difficult seeing how outlander is always setting shops on fire?

3. I've seen logs with outlanders/rangers having potions of return on them. How did they get these? Do they get these off corpses, or can they barter for them?

4. Does outlander frown upon people using potions like in #3? Return/Teleportation potions?

5. I cannot look at the help file on outlander, but is the jist of outlander that they're trying to get the world back to it's primitive state, in a way? Or, the way that the world use to be?

p.s. #5's probably a really stupid question, but I plan on learning alot with my character and outlanders.

Outlanders disdain coins on several levels and never use them. Best bet is to talk to an Outlander about it In Character to try to get a better grasp. They don't even barter with city merchants either, just a few select ones outside the towns.

Remember savages are different than Outlanders though you can be both. That said, no Outlander uses coins though I'm sure some have before being inducted. There was even an argument once about Outlanders gaining access to Hell which apparently requires giving a gold coin to cross the River Styx (never been, just picked up from logs).

They usually come from corpses though there is at least one place outside to barter for them though it's difficult to actually barter something valuable enough.

You can use any potion you can get that is acceptable. You'll see what I mean once you get inducted.

That's a simplistic view of Outlander but it's really better to flesh it out in the game with conversations.
