#29448, "Cabal XP"
|
Does Cabal XP give edge points as an automatic mechanic, similar to obs/explore/commerce/Imm Xp? Or is it just something that an Imm can take a look at and say, "Hmm... This guy seems to be really active in his cabal cause he's got 10k cabal xp. I think some edge lov'n is in order"?

So yes, mostly a indicator for the Imms to have a look at.

I pretty much assumed that edges for cabal powers were unlocked only by direct Imm intervention.
All I'm asking is, does cabal xp give general edge points as an automatic function?

Cabal exp (raiding and retrieving) shouldn't translate into perks. There are lots of people who raid when there's absolutely no risk to them, and giving them extra powers for that would be ridiculous.
Also, you have those days where raids go back and forth a lot, so you can amass the same amount of exp that would normally take very significant amounts of time.
Finally, it's easily abusable. Two people that know each other ooc could allow one to take the item, and the other to retrieve it, repeatedly. To guard against that would probably result in punishing innocent people who let a raid succeed for different reasons.
