#29297, "Loremaster question"
|
Curious as to what became more accurate about lore when I took this edge. Before the edge AC values on armor, damage values on weapons, and spells on potions/staves/etc. all seemed to be inaccurate and/or random. After taking the edge these were still random and everything else seemed to stay the same.

- Level of the item is more accurate - Weapon average is more accurate - Charges on wands/talismans is much more accurate - Spells contained in wands/talismans/scrolls/potions/pills are much more accurate - Armor ACs are more accurate
Basically all this stuff still potentially COULD be wrong, especially when you aren't very good at lore, but is much less likely to be.

....I always just spammed it 5-10 times and took the common ones out of it to make the identify. Most classes that use lore usually have the mana and time to do this.
Is there any reason why to take Loremaster just beyond stopping the spam?

Ah, thank you. I suppose I should have tested that by identifying a few items. I just saw that it kept giving me different answers each time and assumed it was still inaccurate.
Appreciate it.
