#29279, "backrake and boots"
|
Seems like either something else has changed or I'm going senile.
I don't seem to be able to backrake either wearing boots or not wearing them. In the old days, almost any pair of boots would work (I thought) and I never paid much attention to them. But now I'm guessing only a few pairs of boots will work (with actual spikes).
How does this impact savages who disdain wearing metal boots? Is there a work-around sans druid work? (don't need the details, just whether it's common or relatively difficult to find for a savage).
Would the spike-toed boots (in the highly unlikely even I ever come across some) increase backrake?

Nothing has changed. If I remember correctly, you need a set of boots that has +damroll, unless you're a felar.

I guess it's been a while since I had a ranger that either wasn't felar or wasn't a hunter or else always had +damroll boots and never paid attention.
Thanks for the response.
