#28190, "Reward suggestion"

It would be uber, uber cool to get the "familiar" spell on a class that didn't usually have familiars.

Familiars can be extremely nice in many situations, and this is what helps make the conjurer class one of those exotic fun types. If you suddenly add this ability to other classes(even as a reward) it could be scary.

I mean, I guess I can see this being given to an animist as much as a healer given lifesurge or the like, but I'd save it for the extremes.

... why this is a bad idea.

Chief among them, however, is the fact that it makes no sense.

Particularly if I'm a druid or animist.

Animists get a spirit.

Neither needs a power boost.

I mean, I'm sure it'd be a once in a lifetime thing.

I like super rewards that breach class lines.

And most importantly, I think -any- reward should be on the table...whether or not ever lifted off that table, guess we ought to wait and see.
