Nep, Zulgh, have you played an orc ever or recently to hero ranks? Did you stay in those ranks? How did It go?

I didnt know about sip wineskin untill bognok.

THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I USED WINESKINS or BLOODYSKINS, they where very usefull. Ok, too usefull. Now they make me have nerf arrow strike comercials in my nightmares, k thanks heh. You took at skill at 150% usefull ness and took it to pretty weak. I can gather something that is 4 times as usefull as skins in half the time currently. I remember those pills you minor nerfed after Some Imm deleted. Bognok was thrown completely off when you Uber nerfed the skins early in my life, and I won't say it ruined my char, but it helped. I think the nerfage needs some major tweeking. 300hp for a wineskin and 200-600 for a bloody skin seems MORE than fair.

Orcs have it really bad. I won't be playing one ever again. That was my first orc that was decent in combat since you started nerfing savage feeding and other things. I really don't think the staff is able to look at things completly when they are working on them and I could lend you my Wise advice if needed. I've been around as long as you guys.

I played Tuk the orc and another back in the day when they first came out. Orcs became weaker since then, even with adaptations, since you nerfed their skills and gave people edges against their skills... even with edge savage feeding it fires half the time compared to the old days....so all in all orcs are at 80% of what they where when first implemented.

I want orcs to be fun again, pleeburt and olraf rping with me... "No bognok, No bognok... sips its.. sip its" We where not like not roleplaying abusing a bug. We thought it was supposed to be that way and didnt notice it till then. Orcs where almost par with other classes till you nerfed this one thing... THere needs some balance.

I won't go into the looting thing. I guess its fine, but anyone who practices the skil exsanguinate just wasted 2practice. Help gather gold 17 per kill/trade. Help pill vs one bloody skin ever 17 hours. Which is the same as TWO pills. So on the minor scale I can gather the equivalent in bloody skins, via magic 4 to the bloody skin. If I get down on the gold gathering, I can gather 10 magical bloody skins per say to the exsanguinate skill.

Anyways. its Nerfage. After a full loot or a bad death with bognok itw as easy to keep on trucking with old bloody skins, the last death was #### this, they took the bearable from my bearcharge.

I'd rather play an archer than play an orc again.

1.) Sip was obviously a bug, I don't know how a rational person could have thought otherwise.
2.) If you can gather something 4 times better then do so and don't whine about having an option nobody else has.
3.)The pills have been being nerfed slowly with time, it was certainly neccesary.
4.) Think of an orc like a thief with very limited hide and bash, play it like one and you will do fine, you don't need to heal 6k hp in a fight if you pick your targets and times to strike. And just like a thief accept that without catching people pants down there are a lot of folk you can't beat one on one, this is made up for the fact that those you can catch or can beat on you can more or less rape without remorse.

1.) Savage feeding has not been nerfed at all and is still awsome, even moreso now then a few years ago as it fires on more things.
2.) "Wise advice" the only expert advice you can give is in how to incite a flame fest, at that your very talented at everything else... not so much.
3.) Despite being around a long time you simply don't have a balanced perspective on the game period at all, I would infact take the advice of most 1 year players over you as it would likely be more accurate.

1.) Anyone (well virtually) can use healing preps, only orcs can make healing blood skins which means they can have both skins and healing preps. The skins are more or less free to make whereas the other healing items you need to invest more time into gathering.
2.) Gather skins and gold at the same time and buy preps and voilla you have plenty of healing so stop bitching.

So basically you're saying you can gather "heal preps" in pill form faster than you can via exsanguinate.

The key thing here is you can do exanguinate while you're just running around doing other stuff. You just happen to run near an area with an elf mob? Why not pop him? You could even do this *while* gathering gold to buy pills, meaning you're doubling up on the amount of "healing" you're getting per unit time invested.

Exanguinate sure isn't what it used to be, not by a long shot, but I wouldn't call it useless either.

Also, I don't remember touching savage feeding in a looooooooong time.

I remember it getting toned down (I believe it was the rate of fire that got dropped, mostly?), but I've also played orcs off and on pretty much since they came out.

It also was dropped from spinebreaker in the process of bug fixes (I assume the logic caused too many headaches). This is sort of like our now-infamous exsanguinate issue. It's not that they were targetted for a downgrade, but they were indirectly affected.

Otherwise, I think most everything done TO orcs has been mild upgrades, but that their enemies have gotten possibly bigger upgrades.

(Evade always felt like it REALLY hurt for orcs, and swiftstrike makes trying to eat elves feel like eating porcupines )

Orcs are a sub par class these days..

I continualy watched skilled players get owned alot more often then doing the ownage against what are supposed to be similiar match ups.


Ok, you get some neat niche kills, but thats about it...

I've had a few dex 40rank warriors that owned every orc it came across. lvl 42 and up.

There is an arial warrior who is uber geared right now at the lower levels that would pwn the chief any given day, even if the chief had sanc. WHAT is up with that?

But if that wineskin put out 1300hp..
and I had to use 4 of them to get that warrior to bleeding with decent decences....plus stone skin and protection good.

Heh, there's more than just THAT match-up. I've watched binder and pickpocket thieves out-melee me on occassion. The rest of them just hurt more the worse they get. I do love pwning me some healers though!

There are preps in the game that are 4 times as good as current orc skins.

Orc skins are not worth practicing for anymore. You uber nerfed them..

Can you find a balance with the bloody skins?
