#27324, "Dagger spec question"
|
I'm just wondering what exactly causes yells and what doesn't for dagger specs. I was always under the impression that if it lands (hurl throat, underhand, artery, hamstring) it doesnt cause a yell, but if you fail at all but underhand you do cause a yell.
Mind clarifying? Thanks.

Most (all?) of the dagger skills that can initiate can be silent attacks, but won't always be. The chance for this is generally (always?) independent on whether the skill succeeds or fails.

Just seems strangely inconsistent with other opening moves when there's no apparent reason for dagger skills to work this way. Anyway, maybe this feature (whatever the reason) should be mentioned in the dagger spec helpfile?

Are your questions of "all" and "always" supposed to mean you didn't check the code for the exact answer, or that there are some specific cases in which it isn't independent or fully independent on skill success?
Thanks.
