Anybody put some thought into actually doing something there or will that sign stay there until it falls to dust, maybe a neutral version of the silver and onyx with ranking potential?

They are crappy areas with crappy one-liner or missing descs. These ancient areas are a shamestain of CF and should be revamped before any new towers are erected.

Yeah, I know. But I'm assuming they wouldn't keep "Arboria proper" while removing the two towers.

Personally, I'd rather see it entirely removed and then have some sort of massive, undead-infested area (inspired a bit by the Plaguelands of Warcraft?)

Arboria went in on CF in 1995. I remember Rahvin's mortal GhostRider showing it to me as a level 32 Twist and a level 29 Saher.

What ever happens, please don't change wide coppers. They're still my gold standard for "good gear"! I don't care if there are better options now days, if you have wide coppers, you're uber.

I would probably cry a little if wide coppers got changed.
