Seriously? From 100% to DEATH in one hit? I'm rank 29, I cant even be assassinated or PWK yet. I have played my fair share of rangers, but have NEVER been able to pull off damage with onslaught like this or should be able to. Its like I can randomly explode in the wilds now? How is that fair? Even with 10% hp I can at least TRY and escape.

If I'm just being bitchy, please someone tell me what I'm missing?

That's one of those things you can typically only do at low ranks. Ranger is almost surely not insta-killing you at hero unless you're already wounded.

Are you playing a low-hp race/class combo?

Are you playing a race with a vuln this ranger might be exploiting?

If you are playing a low-hp race/class combo, were you wearing +hp gear when this attack happened?

I was human ranger, same level as the cloud ranger that instagibbed me.

Had some decent gear, some midnight dragon, skin of snow leopard, etc. I was doing fairly well, he just did ridiculous amounts of damage.

You are a ranger, too? How exactly did he ambush you then? You weren't blinded, so, uh, how did this happen?

And he hit you with one of the biggest single hit damage output abilities in the game. You asked to be told if you're whining, so I answer. You are.

Wow, alright, so now he's telling me it was an arial non-ranger. That makes a little more sense about the one-shot ambush, heh.

Still, I think that it sucks to have to worry about instant death pre 35-40.

"Sure" copy;paste;post. I was busy playing CF or I might have clarified it sooner. Besides, who gives a #### anyways? I've not had a ranger past 15, nor will I probably ever.

There's others ways to die from a single command in the early ranks. One trip can sometimes do it. Sure it looks worse if it's one big attack but there isn't really any difference between getting unlucky and dieing in ambush and getting unlucky and dieing in the lag from one trip.
