#24291, "Surrounding the Sunrise"

Hey Nep,

I know sometimes you throw us some bones on what legacies are dependant on. I was just curious as to general factors for making Sunrise fire more. Didn't know if taking it on a giant was viable or if it was dex based. Thanks!

I've never had the legacy, but I try to keep notes on what forum trash comes up on these things - and I've got quite a few posts that say the biggest noteable factor for players with it was terrain. It fired poorly in 'closed' areas, and really well in open plains and similar. Considering no one brought up that being a giant frakked it up (or didn't as expected - see Crashing and Arials), without immtervention i'd say that's the most likely answer.

better in closed places. maybe forests/underdark/maybe city..?

And worse in open plains. The famed guy died in northern plains ambush.

fires well in "enclosed spaces" and poorly in plains.

I was more directing it at, do dexy characters benefit more because they can weave it together better, or is it coded for str to help possibly to push them around? Was just curious if terrain wasn't the only main factor.

Terrain is either the only factor, or a factor so important it more or less overwhelms others.
