I think you just did it to shorten the amount of time before people start hitting all your new shifter forms.

I can't believe you just wrote that.

But, I have been watching this for the last 5 hours. I can honestly say two things.

1. Zulg's intentions of it being for marketing were spot on as the numbers of players for this event are up.

2. Valg's reasons for not wanting to make this a permanent fix are 100% spot on.

Hard for me to spot sarcasm when there's no vocal tones to judge by.

I got 6 levels in on my mid-level character fairly quickly, while I had a group. Competition for groupmates was damn fierce though; I quit out tonight after first being unable to keep a group together for more than 30 minutes at a time and then being unable to find two suitable groupmates not already in solid groups.

I wouldn't be in favor of a permanent fix; but it's really fun for a weekend. I'd vote making this a random twice-a-year kind of thing. Emphasis on random. Will be more fun if nobody knows exactly when it's going to happen.

Wha? I think there's some misunderstanding here. All I meant is that double-xp would lessen the amount of time before new shifters reached the upper ranks, at which point they could start playing with all of Zulg's new forms.

I can imagine that quite a few things were broken in the debate... :p
