I'm pretty sure this has been brought up a million times before, but I can't remember what the solution or whatever was. Due to the majority of dwarven mobs being neutral, was anything ever figured out as far as what dwarven PCs are supposed to do? Other than, of course, secretly hoping your friends take pity and go and kill the dwarf that in these days is considered bad roleplay for you to kill.
Old school days, poor Pwent died almost daily.. Now what?
I can't remember why it was shot down, but I'd like to say I recall a race_request inherent being suggested. Is this still out of the question?
Just curious as to what dwarves of the future will have to do to get the covetted wide golden rings, those spiked gauntlets, and ornate dwarven gear.

I can't see this really happening as a global thing. Ludan's doing his thing in Mortorn and doesn't really care about your war on mages (or whatever).
I could, maybe, see a special reward edge or something that would let an appropriate character do it, though.

Honestly dwarven request as an edge would be AWESOME. Those rings wouldn't go to waste. Or we know how dwarves loved gold and gems, maybe let you buy those things off them at a high cost. I have to say I've been tempted to break RP to get that stuff more then a few times. That which does not kill us, makes us stronger.

What happened to the idea of being able to challenge them?
