Ok you know you can only smear mud on yourself as a savage when it's raining, my thoughts are this. If you can make a spring shouldn't that create enough mud to smear? Just think this should be looked into.

As Naboueh I would keep seaweed on me to smear up at the bottom of the sea/ocean. You can also smear up in a swamp all the time. The other times you have to catch the right weather which is fine. Take the persistant filth edge and your smearmud timer is much bigger and makes, running to a swamp or diving beneath the sea more viable as it has not worn off before you go hunting.

I only really used it on my arms/wrists when I knew I would be facing an assassin and boy it was helpful.

You just gave me an idea for a ranger edge.

DUNG SMEARER

Savage rangers with this edge have learned to incorporate animal feces into the mud they smear on their skin. Any "natural creature" that fights a ranger who has coated himself with such a mixture will be intimidated by the scent, and will suffer various demoralizing and disorienting effects.
