#21407, "Spamming Trip, and ganging"
|
I'm tired of scrubs just doing this over and over. Can we add another round of lag on this for them tripping? It doesn't seem like enough. There is so much simplistic skills on this game that makes it no fun sometimes. How about putting more lag on trip, or something. Basic, boring skill that wins to much.
Also, How about making it even harder to gang someone. All I face anymore is a group of whatever just spamming trip over and over. Flight doesn't last forever, so eventually I get kilt. Oh well, but it's still very lame.
No fun to the ones who actually can kill without a group of three.

1) If you're getting consistently beat by trip, that makes you the scrub. There are so, so, so many ways to beat trip-spam.
2) Adding a round of lag to trip would actually make it used much more in gangs than solo. Think about it. It would also encourage ganging in general.

No doubt a non-permaflying lowbie invoker or necromancer can die that way. I've done it. Also, anyone can get caught by a tripping thief or assassin at just the wrong moment while they're very hurt or whatever.
But what competent player serially dies to trip-spam? There's just too many good or at least serviceable answers for too many kinds of characters.

#21408, "anti-gank code has been"

great for reducing rampant ganking that, along with multikill & full looting was the norm when I first started playing Cf. Thank god.
I also believe anti-gank code has also been instrumental in helping the elite players achieve critical-mass APs.
Neither of which is inherently a bad thing, but I don't want to see an entire pk range of APs trying to leech each other's weapons, which is what might happen if you make 3v1 pk even more difficult.
