How come the repellant prep doesn't give you insect-swarm resistance, or wasp resistance? That'd be cool. Especially since insect swarm is long lasting, prevents even vanish, and is hard to save against at best.

And last time I checked insects were not preventing vanish. Unless it was fixed.

If it's been updated - cool. If not, it's a nasty-ass piece of work for a cabal that contains a lot of entangle casting foes and generally likes to camp in places they know insects will kill.

The idea I had would not so much hurt the Outlanders who do ambush-style attacks from various places around Thera. It would hurt those that you KNOW are waiting to use insects. Whack on repellant, have them need to cast it 3-4 more times to land. That'll teach 'em to camp in ways nothing else obviously has.

I've yet to figure out what that stuff does. I can pretty confidently say it's not generic dam redux. Once upon a time I had a theory about another possible effect, but never got to test it. C'est la vie.
