#20807, "Legacy Combo"

I was just curious if anybody had happened to have used the legacy combo of Crashing of the Waves with Space between heart beats. Wanted to see how well the Space worked before I actually began devoting legacies.

Was also Curious if anybody had thought about maybe expanding the Grinning Skull village a bit make it a bit more a cabal in its own right. Perhaps maybe making Kobold thieves that can only select from one thief guild, maybe a troll like warrior or shaman perhaps? Something to just make it Thrive a bit more?

The only race I could foresee this working for (if I judge the prerequisites correctly) is a duergar. He'd be above average at each at best.

Probably, it's hard to have a character for which both of those legacies will work especially well.

...That's because IMHO Crashing is strength based where as Space is Dexterity (and someone actually said intelligence as well, so no duergar) based. Therefore, it's hard to have a char with a relatively high str and dex (aforementioned duergar are really the only class that would fit the criteria, except for their crappy int).

The mediocre performance of both legacies could make up for the excellent performance of a single one of them, but that remains to be seen.

Worst comes to worst, you HAVE a prime stat on a human... use it accordingly.

That's probably the way I'd go if I wanted those two legacies.

Minotaur might or might not also be in the running depending on what I had in mind -- inferior statwise to the human for the performance of that legacy combination, but has some other advantages that might make up the difference when the overall combat effectiveness of the character was considered.

Edited to add: Disclaimer, I've never actually gotten a mino slot, so that's mostly hypothetical.
