#20643, "Giving Cabal Items."
|
I am unsure if this is intended but as an uncabaled person you can not give the cabal item to anyone or anything. I would assume this is done to keep people from giving it to mobs but wouldn't it just rot anyway? Why not make it where you can give the item to whomever you want no matter if your cabaled or not?

Anyone you give it to cannot magically transport themselves anywhere. If you want to give it to someone, you have to drop it, and they have to pick it up. So long, and thanks for all the fish!

I just don't understand if the initial change was more or less making it like battle has always had to raid... then whats the deal? If you drop it the wrong person is likely to pick it up in certain situations, ie hidden/invis/or if your blind. I guess you have your reasons.... I can see many tactical uses for both ways. Just figured I would ask why the change was put in.
