#19508, "Just curious about smear mud"

Has anyone ever actually seen this do anything yet?

Thinking about making another ranger and was wondering if this was even worth practicing. I seem to recall on my previous savage that it never helped against bashes, trips, grapples (even mostly naked) but didn't get thrown so can't assess that.

Not asking so much from the ranger perspective but from those who've fought savages, did you notice anything against a muddy savage?

(Note: I'm pretty it sure it does something just because I doubt the IMPS would code something up that didn't, but I've never been able to assess exactly what impact it has).

Smear mud is great on your wrists - will stop kotegashi, and make it hard to be thrown.

Supposedly, enough mud or strategically applied makes it hard to be bashed, or thrown, or similar skills where you are grabbed, contacted.
