Alright, so lets discuss Devils and conjurers. I understand they dont get healing/flying/sanc/ etc. But why do conjurers who summon devils get rot at sub shaman levels? It cant be blocked (pray for saves) but the point is why should a character at level 34-40 be subject to a rot that could potentially kill them (dependent on race) because a devil who the person has no control over could throw on a rot, and run away? ofcourse you can make the save argument, then make the odds argument. maybe I am just bitter that a char with full con can die on a whim (oh yeah gear? im sorry nobody prepares to be rotted to death at 30's) maybe i am just bitter, but maybe devils need a little revisiting?

1. You now know that you can be rotted. You can therefore stop dying to it.

2. You complain that the conjie has no control over whether the devil rots. That makes it more balanced, not less. Otherwise he could rot everyone.

In general, I don't like rot. I think a lot of people use it to get cheap kills. However, recent posts on Dio's have set out what you need to do to survive.

I don't think it fits well into this game even though it has existed for so long. My major complaint with the prayer is that it is most potent against a subset of characters that don't need anything more against them. That is characters whi die a lot. With very few exceptions outside the village the people who are most vulnerable to rot aren't the cabdru's its the shamanman.

Plus any skilled player willing to deal with the gayness of lugging around a 60 lb bag of con gear can become immune to the fatal consqeunces of the prayer. I just think its weak that heros lug around so much crap for one prayer. If I could change rot I would keep the minus con and no mv regen but scrap the killing aspect. As the body withers more and more commands take longer to accomplish, you might experience a hobbled like effect impairing movement. Basically make the person deteriorate so in 20 hours fighting is rough. in this waY You preserve the prayers usefulness and remove its gayness.

I think that this actually sounds like a good idea. Rot is so very frustrating.

Always shoot first and then call whatever you hit the target.
