I like to be able to search through logs for kills sometimes, but if I don't write down who it was that died, I have a devil of a time separating out pks from mob kills.

What I will do is search for the yell echo, because in almost all cases, a pk fight will be started with a yell. On my text editor, ctrl-f is find next, so I keep hitting ctrl-f til I get to a fight where someone dies.

When you don't remember who did you kill or did you kill. And then there's the killing mobs part of the log.. I've had the same problem at times, especially when half of the log is full of ranking. The yell trick might be worth trying, though.
