KEEN TRACKER Prerequisites: track 85%+ With this edge, the ranger may get a rough idea how long ago their prey passed through, if they find tracks. (Rough idea, as in 0-6 ticks = recently, 7-12 ticks = some time ago, 13+ ticks = long ago)
SIGHTLESS VISION Prerequisites: caverndweller A ranger with this edge has further honed their ability to use sounds for navigation, being able to see exits in many different types of terrain, though less reliably in caves. The unfortunate downside of such acute hearing is that deafening attacks are more effective against them. (I.e. they gain the ability to see exits while blind in any indoors room, forest, mountains and city sectors and whatever else might offer suitable acoustics. Deafen, cacophonous clamor, earclap become harder to resist.)
MASTER BUTCHER Prerequisites: butcher 80%+ A ranger with this edge can produce considerably higher amounts of edible steaks from a corpse. (Duh.)
REFRESHING HERBS Prerequisites: herbs 80%+ A ranger with this edge knows how to pick herbs with additional refreshing effects, granting a fair boost of movement when used. Not compatible with ENERGIZING HERBS. (Boost to moves worth 50% of the healing amount?)
ENERGIZING HERBS Prerequisites: herbs 80%+ This edge allows the ranger to pick herbs with additional energizing effects, granting a moderate boost of mana points when used. Not compatible with REFRESHING HERBS. (Boost to mp worth 33% of the healing amount?)
COMFORTING FAMILIARITY Prerequisites: herbs 80%+ A ranger with this edge who is in his home terrain is able to gather herbs even while blind, though their effectiveness is halved and the regathering timer is doubled.
