Can we get rid of those annoying random gaps in the stats part of rolling? They didn't stop scripts in the first place, and now they're just cosmetically 'bleh'.

I'm still trying to invent a character I like damn it.

I grudgingly admit I have no idea what you're talking about.

They come in during the stat rolling phase of character creation.

Last I remember, it was like 2003 or before and you guys put them in to throw off scripts that people would leave running for god knows how long to get 'perfect starting stats'. It worked for a month, then people adjusted their scripts to either ignore line breaks or assess all the text inputted. As far as I remember, people complained for a short while then went silent because we got that nice YACFR java-scripted roller with stats going. Shame it's not really needed anymore.

As it is now, you get a random line break somewhere in the line whenever you say 'no' to a set of stats it gives you. It breaks the output into two lines and looks a little garbled at times. I don't know if your client corrects it, but it's been that way for many years on mine.

I also have no idea what you're talking about, and can't replicate it. I looked up the threads where we addressed rolling issues, and there's no discussion of anything like this.

Graham be smart. I like.

I use wintin as a client (well, sometimes). It is completely screwy in that because of said randomness. Grab wintin and try it yourself, hopefully it'll tell you clearer than I can

I often use wintin and I don't see that at all.

That it's more of a wintin problem than a CF problem.

I still have no idea what random change people are blaming this on. As far as I know we never changed the way input was done for rolling to mess with anyones scripts or rollers.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Obligatory plug for yTin as a replacement for WinTin.
