This is already available for this with a tattoo.

I didn't know we could do "Who Sphere" but when I looked it up I saw there is a "Who Tattoo."
Whereas I do think it'd make more sense to have a "who religion," than a "who sphere" ... I have to ask ...
Does the problem exist that just because one gets empowered by an immortal doesn't mean they follow their religion the same as someone wearing a tattoo?
Could a Paladin be empowered by Shokai and fight evil with the Fortress, but worship Innis? (Who is currently dormant.)

Probably not. Shokai the player might empower you in place of a dormant imm, but Shokai the character wouldn't be involved. If you RP'd something along the lines of "I seek to follow the way of the sleeping god Innis, and pray to you Shokai for a touch of your grace" then you might conceivably end up with Shokai the character empowering you. I wouldn't suggest this course unless you have a very solid RP idea, as it's even more non-standard than worshipping a dormant god straight up.

I understand you'd need a very solid role and more than decent RP skills to pull it off, but ...
Tattoo = Follower of Religion
Empowerment = Shared Sphere & some IC reason
Than it stands to reason that it could be possible even if one wasn't dormant...
I'm sort of playing devils advocate here, seeing if a "Who Religion" that would include Empowered & Tattoo'd makes sense, or if TheFrog is suggesting something that already exists because Empowered doesn't mean you're a part of the religion. i.e. Just use "Who Tattoo"
Either way, I suppose this will lead to the "Can we get a 'Who Empowered' function?"
I know, I'm probably making all this much more complicated than it needs to be ... but I had the thought a few years ago and his question sort of brought it out.
