#16763, "elemental noarea command"
|
The noarea command for elementals is nice since it allows conjurers to rank a little easier without worrying about hitting unintended mobs, and makes it less likely for a conjurer to become wanted if an elemental hits the wrong person in a city.
Any chance of extending the noarea command to other servitors? Specifically angels, demons, and devils? There's too many times that an angel's pillar of lightning hits other group mates, and chain lightning/acid storm/forked lightning, etc has the same effect or worse than anything an elemental can do.

If they were non-sentient, they would not state "I will not bow down to you, Mortal" on a failed binding, and they certainly wouldn't turn violent, ever. Perhaps uncaring is a better way to look at them. From a balance standpoint, every conjurer has an elemental, so the ability to remove the area effect from them is certainly understandable. The other area effects, though, can be bypassed, from what I can tell. "On ne fait pas de musique contre quelqu'un"
