#16638, "Is it possible we'll see edges named after characters?"
|
There are already certain mortals who became NPC's in game, guildmasters etc.
Is it possible that if a player does something particularly dumb or brilliant, impressive or just plain hilariously stupid, that there could be an edge named after them related to the deed/situation/skill used?
More to the point, would it be possible that these edges are not pickable but grantable? This way, imms choices for rewards aren't just ridiculously overpowered ones when imm exp doesn't suffice, like legacies for non-warriors, moar paladin virtues, or skills like executioner's grace, but rather somethign more middle ground??

It's not beyond the realm of possibility.

Our infrastructure does support edges that can only be imm-given, and actually one of the sets that I've in mind to do in, say, the next five is of this form.

It means I don't have to write helpfiles.
