Hey.

I know you guy's have been trying for ages to do Text -> HTML conversion for logs. It seems moot, since most loggers can log straight to HTML, but I can dig it.

What're your thoughts on an RMA player? I was considering building a web based one, or at least one that could convert say, a DOS based one to MPEG's. Is RMA logging too obscure to be bothered with or what?

I'd always thought something cool would be say, a 10mb quota'd RMA logging utility in game. You can store X number of logs and post them automatically to the log board. If it gets posted or whatever, it gets removed from the queue. Otherwise, they have to remove it manually. I'm guessing replaying in game wouldn't be possible, but maybe some sort of emailing system.

Anywho, random ramblings. What format would a log formatter have to be to work on here anyway? I hate PHP. CGI work?

But most loggers do log as text. And plain text is pretty easy
to edit, requires lower bandwidth to post, etc.

Too obscure.

PHP preferred, but I'd be willing to try fumbling around with
something (supplied to us) CGI to get a log board off the ground.
