kickitem <item> direction

In the heat of battle it's not all ways possible to pick up a weapon you've wrested from your opponent nor is it desirable to destroy it. Among the elven races it's not even possible against certain baneful metals. Those who have mastered the art of flinging debris with their feet into the eyes are often known to use similar techniques to punt objects on the ground out of reach of those who find it underfoot. Even the Elves benifit from this ability, finding their quick feet well suited to denying an opponent access to a lost weapon.

As a warrior progresses he can eventually kick the item in a specific direction. Clever warriors might find creative uses for this skill.

Presumably you're talking about kicking peoples' weapons out of the room after you've disarmed them. There's only really one situation where I could see this being useful: when you can't pick them item up. That means you're either too weak, or it's made of a material you can't touch. In the latter case, if you're too chicken to touch it with your heavily gauntleted hands, why would you be willing to kick it with your boot-covered feet?

It's an Idea I had that would add another dimension to combat.

I can also think of a couple other uses for it.

And it is a Poor mans get 1., for elves/Drow.

My thing for balance issues would be it's a combat thing only.
