Any chance (to be coded that) for those to return to their old place in some time (10-30 minutes) after they were summoned away or the one whom they were chasing quited?

I mean it is damn annoying when you can't find the mob on its place for 2-3 days, and nothing can fix it but crash/reboot. In addition, it is not making too much sense from realism perspective.

Note - especially annoying with SNEAKING mobs which you can't even see on where *sigh*

There are circumstances where an NPC will give up chasing someone and 'return home', and I'm pretty happy with how that works in practice. (It's been this way for a couple years.) It doesn't happen quickly enough to reduce the danger of an immediate chase, and is thus difficult to observe from a player perspective, but it does work.

I don't think this is the case with summoned creatures (can't verify from here though), and it wouldn't necessarily be hard to do, so that part is up for debate.

Sorry to disappoint you but I am waiting for like 20 hours already for mob which I doubt can be summoned (at least I never saw it is done) to be back home. And it is not the only one. I can provide you names of mobs by e-mail if you wish to.
