My first thought was "full loot protection" but if they looted your chest, they looted your key too.

Actually might aid hoarding too much though.

what would be the purpose of that container?
Ok, a thief could put his swag into it and sac the key so only he (or another thief)could open the container again, or maybe it would help against "container steal"...

Are there any other uses?

One is this. Put a spare set in it and weight it down so it's not easily stolen.

Drop it off somewhere before a fight. Go kick some ass comeback and grab it. Or go get your ass kicked come back and grab it.

You can do that by dropping stuff too (And I do) but I thought it'd be neet to have a small something like this from time to time.
