#14213, "Conjurer Devils and the Like"
|
I'll start off with I'm an avid player for over 7 years, but I never post comments or rants. I've played all class types and seen ups and downs with everything, but I can't for the life of me understand the draw backs to conjuring a Devil for an Evil Conjurer. I understand the sacrifices, and keeping gameplay balanced, but to call one it seems like to many hurdles to go through.
An Evil conjurer is already a hard class and ethos to master, but adding in the basic demon as difficult makes it even harder. Sorry for my first rant, but is there any hope of changing this in the future. Perhaps tweak it back to the Corpses, or at least define what sacrifices we need to make so Con doesn't become an Issue?
Thanks, Seilclavin

Alright, I love the Class, and always will. Devils are easy to master once you know what they want, and I admit it adds to the "diabolic" factor. All I really want is a what demons need to be happy. Conjuring them and slaying corpses to see what they take can equal death, hence lost con. I understand some what Corpses, Some Weapons, Some I have no clue.

There many things about CF that we prefer you discover on your own, within the game itself. I think something like this would fall under that category.

I wish I had the time to not auto one (I auto'd my last 3). Man, they're a lot of fun. Frustrating at times, but once you get their fighting style down...fun.

The only thing I really got out of this was he wants to change demons back to wanting corpses rather than aggroing on things with weapons, paladins, etc. What any of that has to with devils beats me. Or the con part. "Knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens." - Jimi Hendrix

but I think it is in some ways what makes playing them fun, its difficult to learn and thus I found it more rewarding when i did. Just my two cents.
