#13232, "Ic stuff about prayers."
|
I know ooc that all gods (over a certain lvl) can hear any pray.
What about IC? What if I'm a priest of one god, but am a sneaky betraying bastard and to pray to another god to try to set up something particularly eeeeeviiiiil.
Say I'm a healer of Khaso...but I have a plan so I send up a few prayers to Valg about betraying the empire....would Khaso IC hear those as well?

Yes. If you wanted to hit Valg up direct with your betrayer stuff, not getting anyone else involved, just send him a note.

Because there was a time in which interesting events used to happen between the gods and their followers. What stops Valguarnera from saying to Khasothalas, "Even your warmaster hates the idiocy of the empire, and will come to my fold within the near future," and seeing what happens? The gods aren't all buddy-buddy and nor should they be. They're playing chess with you, and you're not necessarily going to trick the white chess player and turn black, if you told the black chess player that it was your plan. He might have mentioned it 'in passing'.
As an evil god, I would feel like I would taunt another evil god to spawn some chaos/bloodshed. Betrayer betrayed!
