#13141, "Dark pact and bosses"

Is it possible for an evil healer to heal his boss at maximum strength without demanding "dark pact"?
For example if I'm a poor imperial healer and the Emperor himself ask me to heal him, asking him to "pay" might be dangerous for me.

And so, its not the Healer that is demanding the price so much as the God behind him.

Who would you rather piss off? Your God, or the Emperor?

I'm guessing no God wants their dark follower being the Emperor's bitch if there is a simple mandatory way to dig at them. You are representing your God when you heal with their power, and so you have to do what you think they'd approve of. If the Emperor is refusing the pact for reasons of faith - tough crap. He should induct a priest he's happy to pact with. I don't think any emperor is about to make a healer an enemy over taking half-strength heals and full-strength white/black sanc off them instead.

Now, if you're doing it so that your character with Emperor powers can get the old style of healing added to his already powerful reportoire - tough crap. No power stick for you.

Yhorian.

Is one reason I hope the immortals will be very harsh on those neutral healers who become lackeys for evil cabals.

Not that I can think of anyone like at at the moment *cough*

The character I can think of like that pretty much bitches for everyone, FWIW.

I'm not sure if that's exactly the neutral healer RP I'd be looking for either, but, you know, it's probably not quite as one-sided as you think.

That's probably as much as you or I should say while the character's active.
