Okay. I am not overly familiar with thieves as yet, hence why I just rolled up one. So this is to help with my knowledge of the various thief paths. A couple of questions.

As far as the different paths go, which one is best for adventuring and/or soloing in opinion?

Let's say I want to go with the City/Pickpocket path, right? Like I mean all the way. If I decided to learn only the basic skills from the other paths such as Detect Traps or Nimble Fingers just for the knowledge and defense against Trappers and Binders/Kidnappers would that detract from being able to learn all of the Pickpocket skills?

Those will help you to define what kind of combos other thieves have used. I've had one city slicker with trapper to gentlewalk. City thieves are good at stealing things and opening locks and have running away skills at higher levels. Thug is apparently good for PK, and I'm not sure about the other paths, since my thief experience is limited too.
