#12427, "Heroic Continuation?"

I was thinking that once someone heroes they should be able to earn practices for every X amount of XP earned. That way if they stay active and keep exploring and doing things they can earn enough practices to gain convert into a train. 27100 per practice is not enough though, my current TNL at hero, about four times that would make sense.

This would reduce the stress of conless at Hero and make for more options to get a long lived character other than cowering insanely or becoming the leader of a Cabal.

To kill that old powerranking stud with 2000 hp(who incidently trained hp)? This would be a key to infinite power. I don't think that rewarding Hero grind is good idea. There are people out there who spam-perfect their skills. I think it is more realistic that the old stud survives by his wit, skill and experience(at hero, this just means player skill since he has played the character long, so he must have learned something) which is what happens now.

I definitely agree, and don't think this is an idea I'd like to see implemented.

That said, if you quadrupled the exp/level penalty, people would end up age dying long before they got an absurd amount of hp from ranking at hero.

If you think the basic premise is bad (I agree, for reasons already given, particularly grind-o-matic-ness), then implementing it "only a little" is still a bad plan, though.
