I posted this a while back on the bug board (I thought, maybe not) but never saw any clear response to it.
It's clear that once you are entwined you cannot be rescued which is by design.
Why is it then possible for you to entwine someone and be rescued out of the fight and still have your opponent entwined even though you are not engaged?
I could come up with all sorts of rationalizations about why in a fight scenario each should work/not work but the real question is one of balance of the skill.
