I like some of the recent additions to compare such as using it for sacks, jugs and lockpicks. With the standardization changes, however, I think it could be useful to also add it to food so we can tell which food is more filling than others. Trying to figure out the filling-value to food based on size and weight, even with the new eating echos, is not a lot of fun, and this would help make it a little more bearable.
