#11484, "Warrior spec ideas.."
|
anyone like the idea of being able to use both specializations on one weapon and learn more skills for just that weapon?
might add some more flair to the class without being overpowered...

When we were originally designing warrior specializations we considered this idea and rejected it. If there's a real interest in the whys I'll see if I can reconstruct some of it.

I for one would LOVE to see 8 specs of one weapon rather than just four. Would love to see more weapons do some other maladections. Where's the petition, I'll sign it! I would ask...."Why not make dual specs in one weapon?" what would be so horrible about it? We work on food, but not the specs? Been some time since we gave warriors some lovin!

Warriors are still a relatively recent class to see a major addition. (Legacies) The class revamp train doesn't run as fast as it used to because some key people just don't have as much time for it. I guesstimate warriors will see their next major rework in 2011.
(Note: Not a guarantee that can be pointed at when warriors are much the same in 2012.)
