Is it ok for you to get WANTED for getting your gear from the pit if you've previously PK'd and looted a Tribunal?
I'm fine with people doing things that are against cabal rules for the sake of their role. I'm just not fine with authority figures saying things like that are a gray area. So basically, if I kill Joe the Tribunal on Eastern Road and loot his gear, then I get teleport from his buddies and die and wait for the gear at my pit, is the Tribunal right to make me WANTED and kill me afterwards or is that something that a violation of the rules of that cabal?
I'm not saying I don't agree that there should be some leighway, I'm just curious as to what could possibly be any interpretation of that whatsoever that doesn't boil down to 'Tribunals are allowed to do whatever pleases them so long as a Tribunal Imm isn't visible.'

Disclaimer: I in no way police Tribunal, nor have I ever policed any of the CF law cabal incarnations.

No.
However, if the Tribunal may reasonably believe the gear is still theirs (for example, they die in a death trap, and then the gear that was on them when they died shows up in the pit), I'd call that a different story.

Thanks.
So what it boils down to is if you would or wouldn't be able to tell. Alright, that works for me. That was the presumption I was operating under. IE, if it the gear comes to your pit in your hometown reasonably close to when yours would have come, its an acceptable misunderstanding. I'd imagine if on the other hand the gear shows up in Seantryn when your hometown is Voralion, you wouldn't be in the right to warrant the guy getting his gear.
Cool.

If you take #### from someones corpse OUT of a protected area, and then die, it is YOURS. The tribunal that would want you should be the one getting wanted for miss placing a flag. I cant see how this is a gray area at all. If there is looting out of town, the laws dont apply to the situation.

I don't see why we have to go off on side tangents here. Would be great just to get an official answer on whats kosher and what isn't. Balrahd's right, we're encouraged to report these things yet apparently we can't get an answer to what's cool to report.
