Loping in front of you is a heaving, hulking mass of charcoal fur.
Standing five feet at the shoulders and slightly lower near
the haunch this dire wolf is nothing more than muscle, claw, and
teeth. Sparkling orbs gaze at you with indifference as crimson lips
peel back to reveal a brilliant set of white fangs mounted on
powerful jaws. Digging into the ground beneath it black claws
extend from its huge paws giving it a tremendous amount of traction
in complement to the muscled legs which are built for speed and
pursuit.

The Throne of the Grinning Skull Tribe
Rich hides of wild bear and boar rest at the foot of this throne. Spread
further about the room are exotic rugs that carpet this raised dais. The
seat of power over the Tribe of the Grinning Skull stands twelve feet tall
and is carved from the actual rock of this cave. It is decorated with fine
jewels and the skulls of prestigious kills of fallen enemy leaders and
perhaps old chiefs of this very tribe. From this vantage, you are granted
the best view of the grand hall below you, and the orcs sparring near the
gravel pit. Raised so high above the orcs below, one cannot help but feel
mighty if but for a moment, as you lay your gaze to the subservient
commoners below you. The design of this throne allows the bonfire to
cast the throne in an ominous light creating in an animalistic sense
which makes the chief seem even more imposing and strong.

I also constantly fight a hummingbird which I can not ever hit with melee even when hasted, and 90% of my skills do not hit it. It hits me for about 3 injures a round. Any ideas at all besides the obvious gang tactic it seems like just a matchup that I can not compete with.

It's a flying (poor man's) mongoose. Of course it's ####.

I think its sky-flying speed needs a look, and I've talked to Zulg about that. Otherwise I don't think there are any problems with it.

The fact that it's super tank doesn't bother me.

The fact that's its' a ####ing deathtrap in the air unless you are ABS'd with a sick set bothers the everloving #### out of me.

If they nerfed its ability to prevent fleeing in the air, it would be fine. It is supposed to be a nuisance, with little chance of actually killing you. Smaller birds should harry large ones in the air. Happens all the time. But the large birds should be able to fly off quickly.

Try playing agaisnt a hummingbird with Entropy powers. Instant death for anything flying.

Air to Air battles are lame anyhow.

I use it and golden eagles, falcons can escape no problem. Only vultures have succumbed to lack of flying speed but the vulture hits hardest out of all those I have fought and it nearly got me.

In conclusion: Zulghinlour has done a great job in balancing the forms and the humminbird is by no means invulnerable in the air.

Yeah, when I created the formula to determine a forms flight speed, I didn't actually know that is what determined this little piece of joy. So I'm in the process of revamping that formula and re-doing all the forms so they make more sense from the predator to prey scale.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!
