Well, while I'm not posting to tell you where to find good
polearms or a good starting city for that hopefully what I
post will still help a little bit.

The forums here are more for game mechanics and general
questions. Subjects such as where to find good weapons armor
etc. aren't really meant to be asked anywhere but in the game.
So it's unlikely you will get really specific answers here.
Ask questions like that in the game and there's a good chance
some people will volunteer the information though some won't.

On another note, you seem (I could be mistaken here) new to
Carrion Fields. If that's true, then Welcome. If it's not,
glad your still here. Though if you are new to Carrion Fields,
playing Empowered classes isn't something the staff of Carrion
Fields would suggest considering they require much more work
and a deeper understanding of Role Playing. If you still wish
to play your shaman or any empowerment class good luck and
have fun.

The men-at-arms in Udgaard have good armor. Often, someone
kills them for one piece (a ring, say) and leaves the rest.
As some of them wield polearms (their lances are classed as
polearms), you can grab those from the ground. Not all the
time, but often enough.

That said, in my personal opinion, the polearm is not all that
great a weapon for a shaman. You lose the benefit of using a
shield, for starters.

However, if you are ok with that, then enjoy your polearm
wielding shaman!

If you are new you should probably start in Galadon. I am not
sure if there are citys who are good for polearms or any other
weapon.

I fear that this will probably not happen. Better ask ingame
about such things. On the other hand it would probably be
easier to get some help from others if you are a good guy.
But playing evil can surely be nice, good luck. :)
