#3887, "ranger's edge: Deft Ambush"

DEFT AMBUSH (2063)
For a ranger whose dexterity is currently high, this edge adds increased accuracy to ambushes and partially mitigates the damage penalties associated with disarm, distract, and fade ambushes.
Q1.: By "increased accuracy", do that means my ambushes will land more often?
Q2.: What is the meaning of "partially mitigates the damage penalties associated with disarm, distract, and fade ambushes" ? I don't know the penalties I take when I use these ambushes...
Q3.: Do this edge reduce the lag of my ambush? (I'm not sure how many rounds I'm lagged when I ambush, I'm I wrong to think it's 2-3 rounds?)
Thank you for your help.

Yes.

Generally speaking, each ambush modifier you throw on (e.g. disarm) makes your ambush less likely to land and reduces the damage it deals.
>Q3.: Do this edge reduce the lag of my ambush? (I'm not sure >how many rounds I'm lagged when I ambush, I'm I wrong to think >it's 2-3 rounds?)
Nope.
