#3816, "catching influenza as a newbie"

Can someone explain the intent of catching influenza with no real echo, and nothing listed in affects, as a newbie?

I realize the whole constructive time aspect of fixing issues but this 'feature' can't possibly contribute anything to CF other than a huge waste of time.

Was due to fighting ghouls in the graveyard (their special attack makes you sick). As such, even as a hero I will never fight them. I really think that aspect of them should be removed.

Heal influenza at your local mercenary healer?

I DO think it should be added to affects list, but I'm alright with it being not. It's pretty much a non-factor anyway and a simple look at the help file shows you how to cure it on the cheap. Eat some healthy #### and get some sleep.

I personally think it's a nigh-on-harmless way of teaching the newbarians that there are many unconventional things you may run across in Thera.
