From the help file for dual wield, "Dual wield has an affect on things like shield block, parry, dodge."
Anyone know what that means specifically?

Quite curious myself. We know dual wielding gives you more chances to parry. I wonder if dual wield somehow makes shield blocks better? No idea how it could affect dodge.

This isn't exactly correct. It's more like: if you're dual wielding, you might try to parry with your main wield, OR with your offhand. You don't try to parry a single attack with both.
Shield block is less effective vs. dual wield than it is against single wield, generally speaking.

How does this mesh with a felar dual wielding his claws? If he is not a warrior or assassin, then does he give up that chance of parrying or does it just fail?

I believe it just goes off his main wield for this purpose.

Can sometimes hurt your parry too? Neat
We know that dual wield increases dodge by a huge amount. Something like 200%. It also makes it harder for your opponent to dodge. I THINK 100% dodge also acts as an extra enhanced damage when dual wielding.

So where does dodge factor in?
