#3714, "Lyceum Access"
|
Any reason we can't just give free access to characters level 10 and under?

Lyceum is a great source for role building. No Heralds around? You can pray for access (and I was granted access twice). The suggestion was meant to allow those of us that like to use game lore in our roles get into the Lyceum without being forced to bug immortals.

I'd be happy with a little more time per vouching...
It seems like as soon as I find a corner of the lyceum I am interested in and start flipping through the pages of a good book, I get escorted out. My only option seems to be to fly through spamming every likely keyword and hope I pick up something useful in my scroll back so I can focus on that if I can get somebody to vouch for me a second time.

Removing the barrier sub-10 would encourage roleplay, wouldn't it?
The only downside is somehow you have to explain why older adventurers have to get permission.
Tangentially, on the praying issue - pray always works, if it's roleplayed. I was once referred to a Herald I didn't see before, which led to, y'know, more cool interaction. Splntrd
